PHP Selector in cPanel allows you to easily switch between different PHP versions for your websites. Follow these steps to change your PHP version using PHP Selector:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the "Software" section, find and click on "Select PHP Version."
- You'll be directed to the PHP Selector interface. Here, you'll see the currently selected PHP version for your account.
- To change the PHP version, click on the dropdown menu at the top of the page that shows the current version.
- Choose the desired PHP version from the available options. You can also enable or disable PHP extensions by checking or unchecking the corresponding boxes.
- Once you've selected the new PHP version and made any necessary extensions changes, click the "Set as Current" button.
Your account's PHP version has now been changed. Remember that changing the PHP version might affect your website's compatibility with certain scripts, so make sure to test your site thoroughly after the change.
